青山ペタンク

青山ペタンクは、2009年度東京ペタンクリーグを開幕からの４連勝としました。今回のホームゲームは我々にとって厳しいものでした。理由は：平塚ビーチペタンクの半数近くのメンバーが、去年度まで青山ペタンクでプレーしていた人達で、元チームメイトとの対戦は非情になりきれず、辛いものでした。さらには、平塚のプレーヤー達が格段に進歩していたからです。青山はBastide/Stovall組に頼ったチーム構成を取り、これが成功し、4勝を挙げ、勝利に導いてくれました。最後の２ゲームを締めたのはBuehler/望月組でした。

Aoyama Petanque managed to keep a clean sheet with four wins in four rounds in the 2009 Tokyo Petanque League. This home match proved to be more challenging to us in several points: First of all, the Hiratsuka club is made of almost half of last year’s Aoyama Petanque members, and frankly speaking, it was kind of hard to battle our former team mates. And secondly, the Hiratsuka players have improved tremendously. Aoyama’s team configuration took a bet on the Bastide/Stovall team, and it paid off handsomly: four wins for this team! But in the end it came down to the last two games. And there Buehler/Mochizuki were able to seal the day’s win with the 5th win.
